WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU WAITING TO BUY?
I ask this question of people all of the time! The litany of answers is enough to write a book. What I have found is that MOST BUYERS ARE AFRAID OF WHAT OTHERS WILL SAY. Yes…buyers are afraid of paying too much or not getting a good enough interest rate, or they’ll be judged for having purchased in the peak of the market, or for not getting a smokin’ deal. The question really should be: WHY DON’T YOU ALIGN YOUR REAL ESTATE PURCHASES WITH YOUR LIFE INSTEAD OF THE MARKET? Since no one has a crystal ball, why not buy your home based on what’s best for you and your family right now. In my blog post yesterday I mentioned that it’s really more important to buy when rates are at their lowest (which is where we are now). Waiting for the prices to come down won’t save you anything if the rates go up. So, what are you waiting for?
